This guitar is an outstanding choice for a person on a limited budget - it absolutely rocks! Nothing is lacking in any way - the finish is excellent, all the detail work is spot-on, the pickups sound great, and the Bigsby vibrato is a big plus, of course. This is a highly versatile instrument that will provide years of enjoyment, and make the pl...
At new you could find his guitars for right around $500 which is a pretty good price for this guitar. I do believe they are made in Korea or Japan so you know the build quality is going to be pretty good. Overall this is a cool guitar for the money and I suggest anyone trying out. It isn't my favorite guitar that I have ever played but it does h...
This is just an all around great guitar, bar none. From the finish to the sound to the playability, this Pro Jet is a dream to play. It could handle any style except possibly the most extreme metal genres, and it is a guitar people notice. I recommend anyone to try this guitar out.
Fantastic! At $700, this utterly smokes most other guitars in the range, even at guitars costing $500 more. The sheer playbility, warm sound, cool features like Bigsby and the small hardware, and the comfort of this axe make it a real winner. All this is not to mention how nice it looks! With this guitar onstage, a guitarist is definitely making...
The bass is very easy to play, being a shorter scale. One thing I found that was very fun with this bass was playing it through a guitar amp with a distorted signal, and then riffing away with friends playing guitar! It was a blast, and it sounded very cool.
This gets a 9 overall from me! The fit and finish were pretty good for the price range, and the hardware and tones were really something. I was expecting the guitar to feel a bit cheap due to the price, yet it hung with my much more expensive USA jazzboxes and fully-hollow guitars. A+.
Late spring in 2009 I bought the Gretsch Catalina Club Mod 4-piece kit off a friend when he upgraded to a Shine kit. The shells look amazing. I have the silver sparkle with black stripes and it's one of the most aesthetically pleasing kits I have used. The wrapping looks really nice and I cannot see any cosmetic flaws. The rings are black and th...
While the forte of the Duo Jet is obviously the looks and overall vibe, it doesn't disappoint in the performance department either. This isn't a guitar for everyone. Many players will gravitate towards Fender or Gibson for their classic sounds, but Gretsch offers another flavor all its own. That said, I really love the way this guitar looks, ...
