Características
The Ibanez RGT-320Q is a new, Prestige version of the old RGT3020QM. It features a neck-thru body mahogany with a quilted maple top, a maple/wedge neck with 24 frets, rosewood fretboard with small abalone dots, two humbuckers, an Edge Pro trem, one volume knob, one tone knob and a five way switch.
Utilización
Aside from the Ibanez J-Custom line, this is probably one of the most striking guitars that Ibanez offers. The quilt on this is absolutely stunning. The quality put into this guitar is really something to behold. The guitar was made in the Prestige factory, so it has awesome fretboard. I was able to get sickly low action on this guitar without any problems at all. The AANJ is a great neck joint, but these neck-thru models make it even easier to get up to the higher frets, if you can believe that.
Sonoridades
The guitar sounds killer! However, the stock pickups are very weak sounding. I highly recommend replacing those as soon as possible. Once you do, this guitar will truly come alive. The wood combination in this guitar seems to be perfectly balanced for just about any genre you throw at it. However, I found that it really worked great under high gain for heavy metal. The mahogany helped give the guitar some warmth and midrange, the maple gave it some spank, and the rosewood seemed to even everything out.
Opinión Global
If you can afford one of these, I recommend checking them out. The quality is great, and the guitar resonates like crazy. Just be sure to replace the pickups once you get it as the stock ones suck. You might as well replace the pots and switch too since they're not exactly the highest quality out there. This is one of the few guitars I'd recommend buying blind as they all seem to sound wonderful.
